So far this year is off to a pretty good start. I’m feeling much better as I figure out what food works best to fuel this meat suit I drive around everyday! I started a Daniel fast on the 6th and I’ve noticed that removing sweeteners has been the biggest help. Since then, I’ve broken the Daniel fast a couple of times but I had 8 days straight of complete success. I’m going to keep up a highly vegetable and fruit based diet and keep treats as just that…treats!
2014 was a pretty tough year looking back on it. I didn’t really feel stressed but there’s was quite a bit of stressful things going on. I was hospitalized in March 2014 with a Carotid Artery Dissection and I have been struggling with high blood pressure and borderline high cholesterol levels since the event occurred. The driving force behind my new health walk is the awareness that I’m childish and I need to grow up! I’m 5’3″ tall and weigh 129 pounds (9 pounds down from 3 months ago). So, yes, you can be a skinny fat person. My lab results, blood pressure spikes, and heart palpitations remind me daily of that fact. So, I’m growing up. I’m going to make sure I’m around to raise my two beautiful boys!
